“Knock, and it will be opened unto you: seek, and you will find." (Matthew 7:7)
In this one short verse from God's Holy Word appear two prayers and two promises.
We are Instructed to “knock" and "seek." These are forms of prayer. . . attempts to discover unseen answers known only to our Heavenly Father. Then, after prayer, come the promises. . . the answers to our prayers; "it will be opened unto you"... "you will find."
Now, there is only one missing element, but a very important one. That element is faith, and faith is the key. Matthew 21:22 states it plainly. “And whatever you ask in prayer, you will receive, if you have faith."
So, there you have it . . . the key that unopens the doors. This Sabbath, visit your local church or synagogue. for behind that door lie prayers and promises and the faith that opens doors.
