Green roofs of Amissville — Amissville has a preponderance of green-roofed buildings, which blend artistically into the landscape. Could it have been planned that way? Hackley’s Store, with its cheerful pots of geraniums hanging from the porch, presents a particularly colorful scene. A vintage CocaCola sign decorates the front of the store which will take some of us back to our childhood, when that shapely little bottle came out of the machine for 5 cents.
