On Friday, Nov. 13 murder will be on the menu as Lord Fairfax Community College presents the Wayside Theatre On Tour Production of “The Neptune Incident.” Thirf audience participation theatre event revolves around the introduction of a new solar powered automobile, called the Neptune.
Those attending the performance are treated as investors in a potential stock sale of the Neptune, investigate clues of the dastardly doingB, and receive prizes should they correctly identify the criminal(s) before the final scene is played.
The play is presented in a dinner theatre format, and tickets for the show and dinner are $15 per person. You may call 869-1120, ext. 40 or 78 to make reservations.
Wayside Theatre is Virginia’s second oldest professional theatre company, and has been touring the mid-Atlantic States with these type of murder mystery theatre productions for the last four years.
“The Neptune Incident” is a new' production that features a hard-driving female CEO, a shady lady executive of their advertising firm, a desperate head of a rival car company, the gorgeous but scatterbrained spokesmodel, and a suspicious reporter. The comic and mysterious turns of event promise a fun-filled evening to be had by ad and all proceeds will benefit Phi Beta Lambda Business Organization and the Performing Arts Club. The performance will begin at 7 p.m. in the College’s Special Events Center.
