Mr. Huff was born Aug. 28,1921, in Rappahannock County, the son of the late Charles Winfield and Bessie Jane Payne Huff. He was retired from the Front Royal Avtex Fibers plant and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II. He was a honorary member of the Flint Hill Fire Department. He was a member of the VFW Post 1860 of Front Royal, the Giles B. Cook Post 53 American Legion of Front Royal and the National Organization of Disabled American Veterans. He was the husband of the late Catherine Lillard Huff.
Surviving are one son, Frank E. Huff of Flint Hill; two daughters, Connie Huff Harris of Flint Hill and Carolyn Huff Kinsey of Front Royal; one brother, Allie Huff of Washington and five grandchildren.
Pallbearers were Emory Russell, Jack Curtis, Doug McCabe, Walter Krause, Buddy Lillard and LeRoy Lillard.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Flint Hill Fire Department.
