teenager Astrid Brinck, who immigrated to the United States from Chile three years ago and has appeared in six productions at Washington’s Gala Hispanic Theatre.
The other leading actors are Sarah Wolf, who has worked with Signature Theatre in Arlington after studying at the Folger Shakespeare Theatre, and Peter Thornton, who has appeared in some 35 productions in the Washington area. The cast also includes Hadley Boyd, Jessica Poirier and Stan Shulman.
‘Third Child” has been produced in New York City, England, and Texas.
Within the play, the family discusses sensitive issues such as rape and prostitution, subjects that parents may consider inappropriate for young children.
The Rainmakers Theatre Company is a group formed to aid in this presentation of “Third Child.”
