Thank you for publishing the articles about Barbara Gentry and Bemie Price in the Rappahannock News. We appreciate your continued support of our aging problems in Rappahannock.

I’d like to correct a few errors in the articles. The article about Mrs. Gentry was written by Hank Altman, one of our RSVP volunteers and a retired newspaperman. The one about Mr. Price, in the first person, was written by that wonderful gentleman himself, with an introduction by Jeannie McNear, who has been in charge of our Rappahannock volunteer program for many years.

Both articles were combined in your paper under the byline of Frances Bishopp. Those interested in volunteering can call Ms. McNear locally at 675-3329. She’ll also be glad to provide information or refer you to any of our aging services.
