Orator Woodard
Orator Woodard, 81, of Brightwood, died Sunday, Oct. 25 at the V.A. Hospital in Richmond.
Mr. Woodard was bom Nov. 17, 1910 in Rappahannock County.
He was a retired chauffeur and his wife was the late Lula Coulter Woodard.
Survivors include a step-daughter, Mrs. Edna Lambert of Brightwood; three granddaughters; seven great-grandchildren and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by a son, Samuel McClanahan.
Graveside services were held Wednesday, Oct. 28 at Culpeper National Cemetery with Elder Toliver Utz officiating with full military honors.
Clore Funeral Home in Culpeper was in charge of the arrangements.
