The former Miss Atkins received a B.S. degree from Longwood College and currently works for the Virginia Department of Transportation in Fairfax.
Mr. Ballantyne graduated from James Madison University with a degree in political science and is also employed by the Virginia Department of Transportation.
After honeymooning on a Caribbean cruise, the couple is residing in Centreville.
