'Recover'
under Clinton
To the Editor:
On Nov. 3 the American people will again choose their president, this time from three major tickets. Of those three, 'only one can solve the problems which we currently face. That ticket is the Bill ClintonA1 Gore ticket. Bill Clinton and A1 Gore represent a new direction of leadership for this country. They have the perception to see the problems we face and the vision to solve them.
The economy of this country is in the worst shape since the depression. More people are out of work than ever before. People who still have jobs work in the fear that these jobs too may vanish.
The Republican ticket will tell you that things aren’t really so bad, and that “recovery is just around the corner.” The Independent candidate offers a shock therapy which wjll prolong the suffering for another four to six years before things improve. The Clinton-Gore plan is the only one which will improve the economy by “putting people first.” It recognizes that an economy is built of people, and can only improve when the government invests in people.
Only the Clinton-Gore ticket recognizes that there is not a conflict
