King, queen
crowned at rites
Seniors Susan Payne and Kevin Jolliffe were elected king and queen of Homecoming and recognized during halftime activities at last Saturday’s soccer game.
Other Homecoming attendants were seniors Neeley Bartlett and Mike Brown, juniors Leah Marlett and J.C. Welch, sophomores Cindy Welch and Johathan Maeyer, freshmen Keri Kerr and Willie Shyanks, ahd eighth graders Keirsten Kerr and Jon Digges.
The Rappahannock club team loet the game 2 to 1 to the team representing the Warrenton JCs. Rappahannock’s goal was scored by Tim O’Meara on a penalty kick. Another apparent Rappahannock goal did not count. Referees said that to count as a goal the entire ball has to pass over the goal line, and in this case the ball did not.
