• Trooper G.T. Settle reported that he charged Steven L. Alt, 25, of Green Spring, W.Va., with reckless driving after an accident Oct. 21 on U.S. 211 at the Route 729 intersection.
Settle reported that Alt turned from eastbound U.S. 211 into the median strip to turn left onto Route 729, and allegedly pulled out in front of a 1985 Oldsmobile, driven by Patricia G. Barnett, 78, of Bethesda, Md.
