1. Should the state relax the Dillion Rule, which limits the type of taxes towns, cities and counties can impose, and let local governments levy new taxes? 2. Should parents or guardians at least be notified before their minor daughters have abortions? 3. Do you favor expanding the death penalty to include all premeditated murder? 4. Should the state police have the authority to investigate public officials they suspect of criminal activity without having to get the permission of the Governor or Attorney General as they do now? 5. Would you prefer tougher laws and harsher penalties for crimes committed with firearms rather than putting additional restrictions on law abiding gun owners? 6. Currently the Democratic Caucus of the General Assembly in effect selects our judges behind closed doors. Would you prefer a more open process? 7. Do you favor having a period of time for all citizens to examine the Governor's proposed budget before the General Assembly begins action on it? 8. Should current members of the General Assembly who are lawyers be allowed to represent clients before the same commissioners and regulators whom they appoint to office? 9. Do you favor a voucher system for school children that allows parents to choose the schools their children attend? 10. Do you favor tying welfare benefits with the school attendance and performance of the recipients' children?
