Wilma and James Burke won approval to build an addition to their Sunnyslope Home for Adults at the Planning Commission last Wednesday night.
Mrs. Burke said she wanted to add five bedrooms, a kitchen and dining room to the west side of the building, bringing the total capacity to 19 residents. One of the existing bedrooms will be used as a game room and the existing kitchen will become a recreation and refreshment area.
The addition also will include two full bathrooms and one half bath. There will be a porch wrapping around the addition.
