He also had special thanks for the Bleu Rock Inn across the street from the high school. “They opened up a course for us around the edge of the vineyards,” he said. “They even put in an extra gate so we can go directlyto and from the course without having to wander around the parking lot,” he added.
The 3.05 mile course certainly provides some of the prettiest vistas to be found on a cross country course, he added. “The course is so nice that I tried to get the 1993 District meet here, but I was too late,” Corder said.“I’m still trying to get the district meet here in 1994,” he added.
