Colonial Christmas dinner

The Washington Volunteer Fire and Rescue Department will be serving a Colonial Christmas dinner of comish hens, green beans with almonds, wild race pilaf, sunshine carrots with ginger sauce, pumpkin pie with whip creme, homemade roll with butter, tea and coffe. Dinner will be served from 5-8 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5 at the fire hall. Cost is adults $10 and children 12 and under $5.

CCLC raffle

The Child Care and Learning Center will be sponsoring a raffle. Prizes will be a queen size handpieced quilted quilt and dinner for two at The Inn. Tickets are $2 and can be purchased at the Center. The drawing will take place at the bazaar at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 5. You need not be present to win. Proceeds will benefit CCLC.

Dance to be held

The Sperryville Volunteer Fire Department will sponsor a Christmas dance from 9 p.m. to 1 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 19 at the fire hall. The band Stonebridge will be playing. All tickets to be sold in advance, no tickets will be sold at the door. Dress code to be enforced. Please contact any member for tickets or call 987-8124, leave message.
