'Hie special exception is required because the lot la smaller than 25 acres. In approving the subdivision the planners specified that a plat or deed to the remaining land specify that the allowed density is reduced because of the subdivision. The remaining property could contain no more than four lots.
Robert Dennis spoke in favor of the subdivision. “My feeling is this is exactly the way the county ought to deal with this issue," he add. “The density requirements are enforced. I applaud both the county and the Cook estate for working this out."
