The Board of Supervisors voted unanimously not to approve $4.2 million for a middle school at Monday’s meeting.
Following a free-ranging discussion during which Jackson District representative Ellis Bingham said he would favor building a primary school, Stonewall-Hawthorn District representative Robert Anderson said he would favor adding modular classrooms to give more time to study the options.
