William Pickett

William Thomas Pickett, 59, of Amissville, died Feb. 1, at his residence.

Mr. Pickett owned and operated a saw mill in Amissville for over MO years until his disability about five years ago. He was a member of the Warrenton Moose Lodge.

He was born May 9, 1933 in Culpeper, the son of the late Thomas Burton Pickett and Beulah Ford Lawrence.

He is survived by his wife, Josephine Pickett; two sons, William Roger Pickett and Ronnie Lee Pickett both of Amissville; one daughter, Rhonda Pickett Kennedy of Castleton; one sister, Catherine Gallery of Amissville; five grandchildren and two stepgrandchildren.

Funeral services were held on Feb. 3 at the Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton with the Rev. Clyde R. Woodard officiating. Interment followed in the Hillcrest Memory Gardens in Jeffersonton.
