Lloyd Bywaters
Lloyd Douglas Bywaters, 76, of Amissville, died Jan. 26 at Warrenton Overlook Care Center.
Mr. Bywaters was bom Feb. 2, 1916 in Virginia, the son of the late Wilbur C. Bywaters and Ethel Bvwaters Stover.
He was a retired automobile mechanic, a member of the Amissville United Methodist Church and a founding member of the Amissville Volunteer Fire Company.
He was predeceased by his wife, Virginia Green Bywaters.
Survivors include four sons, William Douglas Bywaters of Bealeton, James Buddy Bywaters of Flint Hill, Kenneth Ray Bywaters of Amissville and Lloyd Ricky Bywaters of Louisa; two daughters, Joan B. Oliver and Doris M. Bywaters, both of Amissville; three brothers, Edward Bywaters and Arthur Bywaters, both of Flordia and Harold Bywaters of Ohio; two sisters, Thelma Colvin of Amissville and Edith Thomas of Baltimore, Md.; 11 grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Graveside services were held Jan. 29 at the Amissville Methodist Church Cemetery with the Rev. Peter Weems officiating.
Contributions may be made to the Amissville Volunteer Fire and Rescue Squad, Amissville, Va. 22002.
Moser Funeral Home in Warrenton was in charge of the arrangements.
Robert Corbin
Robert Lee Corbin, 66, of Culpeper, died on Friday, Jan. 29, at Mary Washington Hospital in Fredericksburg.
He was born on May 10, 1926 in Sperryville, the son of Maggie Jane Nicholson and Andrew Clyde Corbin.
Mr. Corbin was a U.S. Navy Veteran, having served during World War II. He was a member of Bethel Baptist Church and was a farmer and a welder.
He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Thelma Bennett Corbin; seven sons,
