Grace Yocum, a resident of Sunnyslope Home celebrated her 95th birthday last Saturday evening with family and friends from the county. She received many nice gifts but one that was of particular interest w as a loaf of bread in the shape of 95. There were also lots of banners and balloons with one banner reading “Amazing Grace.”
Mr. and Mrs. Leon Lillard, Amy and Allison of Broad Run were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Aubrey Lillard.
Lois Duncan of Broad Run visited her parents on Saturday. Thursday visitors were Mac and Louise McCulloch and visiting on Tuesday was Mabel Lillard.
Mrs. Barbara Gentry and Mrs. Rixey Frye were Sunday dinner guests of Mr. and Mrs. Wiley Allen Gentry at Manassas and later visited the Ronald Gentrys at Nokesville.
We are happy to report that Joy Shorb, who underwent surgery at Fair Oaks Hospital at Fairfax on Wednesday returned to her home here on Sunday. She wras accompanied home by her daughter Jennifer Shorb. We wish her a speedy recovery.
Bryant and Holly Welch and girls Katie and Emily were Friday dinner guests of Larry and Shelby Welch.
