Gov. Doug Wilder, along with state and local officials met at the Longlea Manor House recently and gave their support for the expansion of the property on which the American Security Council Foundation is located here in Boston. The Communication Corporation of America is also housed on the same property which consists of approximately 882 acres. The National Security Caucus of the Congress of the United States has been served here since 1978. About 600 units is planned to be developed here along with a indoor pool, tennis court and golf course. In the words of Ruth Updike, Vice Chairperson of the Board of Supervisors and a former employee of C.C.A., she thinks “everyone will profit from this project.”
