The crowd came alive as the second half began when Rappahannock ripped off eight points in less than a minute. By the four minute mark, however, Central’s big front line had grabbed five offensive rebounds and put them back for points to tie the game at 51-51. By the end of the quarter the score was 60-54 for Central, and the Panthers could not close the gap in the final eight minutes.
At the end, the game was decided at the foul line. With 40 seconds to go Central was ahead, 82-76, and the Panthers were fouling to get the ball back. Unfortunately the Central Falcons were sinking their
