A trip is planned to Goat Hill Farm, an organic farm in Tiger Valley. Rocks and minerals will be studied, and each child will start their own rock and mineral collection. Edible wild foods will be gathered. The children will be collecting purslane, lambs quarters, plantain leaves, violet leaves, oxalis and dandelion greens for salad, and yarrow, clover and sassafras for tea.
