T.B. Campbell
Thurman B. Campbell, 73, of Front Royal died Monday, June 27 at VA Medical Center in Martinsburg, W.Va.
Funeral services were conducted Thursday, June 30 at the Maddox Funeral Home in Front Royal by the Rev. Daniel C. Clegg Jr.
Burial was in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
Mr. Campbell was bom July 19, 1920, in Page County, son of the late David Herman and Brucie Clyde Barbee Campbell.
He was a retired carpenter and served in the U.S. Army during World War II. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 1860 and the Giles B. Cook Post 53 of the American Legion.
Surviving are his wife, Lucy M. Campbell; a daughter, Patti Kelly of Port St. Lucy, Fla.; a stepson, David Wood of Front Royal and a stepdaughter, Sandra Breeden of Front Royal.
Also surviving are four sisters, Viola Chadwell, Mildred Darr and Geneva Campbell, all of Front Royal and Ruby Wines of Chester Gap; a brother, Kenneth Campbell of Front Royal; three grandchildren, three step-grandchildren and 14-greatgrandchildren.
Pallbearers were Lenny Campbell, Tommy Campbell, Jerry Wines, Lee Wines, Bobby Campbell, Elwood Wines and Giles Darr.
Honorary pallbearers were members of the Veterans of Foreign Wars and the American Legion.
