The 4-H Day Camp at the 4-H Center in Front Royal was attended by 75 Rappahannock County children during June 27 through July 1.
The children were offered 12 classes: archery, fishing, arts and crafts, cooking, creeks and critters, puppetry, stamps, Indian folklore, gardening, painted T-shirts, wildlife and rocketry. According to Extension Agent Helen Smith, most of the instructors are parents, and some are volunteers who enjoy working with the kids.
Each camp day ended with an assembly which included a program.
