Members from Orange are Ray Hugo, and Robert Noxley. Members from Madison are Doris Lackey, and Frank Lewis. The Board of directors, following recommendations of the Allocation Panel, voted to allocate $171,900 including the allocations to the local Boy Scout council and the council that serves Orange and Madison counties and CCLC. The Allocation Panel had received requests for $238,500. Piedmont United Way has doubled its resources in the past five years, but has the potential to raise nearly $1 million according to a survey that compared the resources of the area with other United Way areas.
