We also need to contact the Virginia Department of Transportation and the Department of Interior to find our why the section road between the parking area and the chain isn’t being maintained. This road is supposed to be open. It is not in the Congressionally designated Wilderness Area! Actually, State Route 614 would seem to end at the Park Chain as the Park Boundary is to the west of the road. Letters will be going out within the next couple of weeks.
