Going to the cemetery is no effort for those of us who can walk, as we could go anytime. Those of us who cannot walk, it does become a problem. The number of relatives descended from folks buried at the Bolen Cemetery number in the hundreds, and though we would not expect such a turnout for this event, we would expect more of the younger generations to assist those of the older set. It will come soon enough that eventaully no one will be alive who cares about the past. Don’t let it happen in our generation!
Another trip to the cemetery is planned for the month of October. We will be notifying everyone as the date draws nearer.
