Boxwood Shrubs Virginia Boxwood Company maintains boxwood at over 400 sites in Virginia including several sites in Rappahannock. The company cares for boxwood at no charge to the owner, or sponsoring institution, we make a living by thinning boxwood every 2 to 4 years and taking the clippings and selling them to the florist industy, which uses them to make Christmas wreaths and other decorations.
We take care of scores of prominent sites in Virginia including the Governor's Mansion in Richmond, most of the James REiver Plantations, many colleges, including V.M.I., Washington and Lee, U.V.A., Virginia Tech and many other prominent public and private sites.
We will be working on Boxwood throughout Rappahannock in October and November. We begin in the first week of October, and continue on until mid-December. We are fully insured with comprehensive general liability insurance and worker's compensation insurance. We are licensed by the Virginia Department of Agriculture as Commercial Pesticide Applicators.
