Piedmont Alliance Meeting Set

The Piedmont Alliance for the Mentally 111 will hold its regular monthly meeting at 7 p.m. on Thursday, July 14 in the Board Room of Fauquier Hospital in Warrenton.

Football Registration

The Skyline Travel Football League will hold registration for youth 12-15 years old and weighing up to 160 pounds for the Rappahannock Panthers youth football team from 9-11 a.m. on Saturday, July 9 at RCHS. For further information call 937-5751.

Free Clinic Open

The Fauquier Free Clinic, Inc. is open every Thursday evening to serve Rappahannock and Fauquier County residents who have no health insurance, no medicare or medicaid and cannot afford to pay for health care. Registration for the clinic is from 5:30-6:30 p.m. All patients registered in that hour will be seen that evening. Volunteer doctors and nurses are staffed to provide free health care. Located in the Fauquier County Health Department, 330 Hospital Drive. Call 3470394 for further information.

Christmas Tree Buyers Guide

The Rappahannock County Extension Office is in the process of preparing a Christmas Tree Buyers Guide for the fall of 1994. This will be similar to the “Orchard Guide” listing orchards in the county. This information is often requested by consumers, local bed and breakfasts, and shops.

Christmas tree growers in Rappahannock County who wish to be included should contact Skip Robinson, Extension Master Gardener at 675-3619.

Aerobic Classes

Ongoing aerobic classes are held in the Episcopal Church at 9 a.m. on Monday and Friday and at 8:30 a.m. on Wednesday. For information call Beth Levick at 675-3108.
