County Methodist Services

The United Methodist Churches will have worship services for Sunday, July 10 as follows:

Flint Hill at 8:46 a.m.; Sperryville at 11:15 a.m. with communion; and Willis Chapel at 10:00 a.m.. The Rev. Merlin Shorb is pastor and invites the public.

Bible School Planned

Black Oak Regular Baptist Church located on Route 729 will be having Vacation Bible School July 11-15 each day 8:45 until 12 noon. The theme for the school will be “Discovering God’s Answers” and there will be classes for all ages, 2-16 years. ™ ^onna Dobson is director and has as teachers, Betty Smith, Gladys Wilkams, Barbara Tharp, Pat Corbin and Marie Atkins. Sandy Goodall is craft instructor with aide Judy Dodson. Krista Pritt will be m charge of music and singing. Nina Peyton is breaktime-game leader with Hazel Delph and Hazel Jolliffe in charge of refreshments. Aides include Peggy Tharp, Bridget* Corsaro and Rosie Wharton.
