Mary Dodson
Mrs. Mary Frances Jones Dod-, son, 62, of Culpeper, widow of Obadiah Dodson, died on Monday, June 27 at Autumn Care of Madison.
A native of Rappahannock County, she was the daughter of the late Robert B. and Annie Lee Dwyer Jones.
Mrs. Dodson was married to the late Calvin Dodson and after his death, married Obadiah Dodson.
She was a member of Culpeper Baptist Church but had recently been attending Calvary Baptist Church. She was clerk for 7-Eleven Food Stores. 1
She is survived by a sister, Cedelmer Atkins of Culpeper; several nieces, including Betty Jean Settle and Dorothy Mee, both of Culpeper, three step-sons, Stanley Ray Dodson of Culpeper, Ronnie Dale Dodson and Donald Wayne Dodson, both of Charlottesville; a step-daughter, Janet Kay Corbin of CriglersviUe; 13 step-grandchildren and three stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was predeceased by her son, Joel Gilbert Dodson.
Graveside services were held on Thursday, June 30 at Woodland United Methoidst Church near Culpeper with the Rev. Charles Shifflett officiating.
