“We need to keep a close eye on our capacity, what we are obligated to within the present area of the plant. All indications are we are getting mighty close. With subdivisions of this type the only thing we can do it say ‘no we do not have the capacity.’ It becomes their problem. They can’t build in a flood plain.”
Mr. Estes also reported, on Mr. Jenkins advice, he had turned down sewer pipes installed for Larry Dodson’s subdivision in Sperryville. He said the pipe did not meet specifications as suitable for pressurized effluent. He received WSA approval for having Mr. Jenkins draft a list of requirements to give to contractors specifying what is needed and for having Mr. Jenkins install the pumps and electrical hookups and do the inspections.
