50 Years
To the Editor:
County citizens can be very proud and perhaps humbled by the dedication of past volunteer parents and educators. Their vivid example should remain the standard for Rappahannock parents today.
This year marks the fiftieth anniversary of the Rappahannock parent and teacher volunteer network, the PTO. All should be thanked and congratulated for year upon year of continuous partnership with the Rappahannock schools. The currentday PTO wishes to do just that.
This Friday evening at 7:30 p.m. at the elementary school the PTO will host a “Fifty Year Celebration.”
Two guest speakers, refreshments, and some interesting history trivia are all part of the program.
