Orchestra To Play
Pancho Villa’s Restaurant in Culpeper will be hosting the Tommy Dorsey Orchestra on Sunday, May 14 in honor of Mother’s Day. Dinner begins at 4:30 p.m. and the show at 7 p.m. at the restaurant located at 150 Madison Road in Culpeper. For information or reservations call 8255268.
Wharton Reunion Planned
The families and friends of the late Sam, Amon, Robert, Oscar, Walter, Howard, Ashby and Helen Wharton will hold a reunion on Sunday, May 14 at the Castleton fire hall. “Please bring a covered dish and drink. Dinner will be served at 12:30,” said a family spokesperson.
PTO Anniversary Celebration
The RCES PTO will celebrate its 50th anniversary at 7:30 p.m. on Friday, May 12 with performances by students, the 4-H Cloverbuds and the fourth grade. Their foresight, ingenuity, determination and their desire to serve the students well in Rappahannock is to. be recognized and applauded. The public is invited.

SADD (Students Against Drunk Driving) at RCHS are asking for donations, either money or prizes, for their After Prom Party. The party will be held at Crooked Run Health Club in Front Royal after the prom on May 13 until 5 a.m.

Fund Raising Drive Underway
Boy Scout Troop #200 of Flint Hill is having a fund-raising drive to start a new troop and send Scouts to camp. Scouts will do yard work/odd jobs on Saturday afternoons as a troop. Bake sale will be held May 27. Donations of money, bake goods and jobs will be greatly appreciated. Call Ellen, 675-1657 for more information. New Scouts are welcome.
