Get ready for the 1995 Rappahannock Rug-Rat Road Rally and Funfest on Saturday, June 3.
The Rappahannock Rug-Rat Road Rally is a gimmick rally — a kind of scavenger-hunt on wheels. It is a family-oriented, timed, leisurely drive through the scenic Rappahannock countryside where participants follow clues and answer questions about the route they are passing through.
Prizes, which have been donated by local merchants, establishments and individuals, are awarded to those who answer the most questions correctly and who complete the drive in the time closest to the estimated time.
Some of the prizes are a case of wine from Farfelu Vineyard, a pitcher and basin from That Sperryville Emporium, dinner for two at The Inn at Little Washington, High on the Hog, and the Bleu Rock Inn, lunch for two at 4 & 20 Blackbirds, pizza from the Appetite Repair Shot, ice cream certificates from the Country Cafe, gift certificates from Hillsdale, Ben Venue Market, Settles, Flint Hill
