We realize the constraints of space on a small newspaper, and understand why it is impossible to include every detail in every story, so Ron and I would like to personally recognize and thank our wonderful staff for all they do. Donna Oliver, Nancy Wiles and Kim Fewell, the adults on our staff, go far above the call of duty in every way, treating our store as their own. Stephanie Taylor, a marketing student at CCHS, works energetically four or five days each week through the school’s “early release” program. Our support team is made up of one great group of teen agers: Chris Dodson, Daniel Hitt, Caroline Windmiller and Brock Hodgson. We hope that they know how much we appreciate them all.

To the Editor:
The Board of Directors of the Child Care and Learning Center joins me in thanking our nine host couples who graciously opened their homes to 85 guests on last month for the CCLC Country Suppers fundraising event.
Because of the generosity and donations from our supporters, we raised over $3,000 to be used for scholarships. Our host couples were Bob and Helen Bridges, Lee and Diana Bird, Peter and 'Margy White, Paul and Beth Gall, Hodge and Kay Miller, Jonathan and Ellen NeillDore, Sid and Margaret Gottlieb, Peter Bair and Victoria Hahn, and Rob and Susan Parrish.
Our evening began with an open house/cocktail party at the Child Care and Learning Center, and then progressed on to dinner at nine homes throughout the county. Thank you all so much for making this a memorable and profitable evening!
