fhe Committee will ask the Planning Commission to make a list of issues for long-range planning of the town (20 years). Expounding on the agenda, Mr. Gooch said that the Committee would draw tentative new boundaries for the town and make a list of what they would like to see in the town that would be made possible by the new boundaries. If areas are to be developed, the Committee will say what they wish to see included, possibly affordable housing for teachers and senior citizens.

The Committee would then seek funds to get a professional town planner, said Mr. Gooch, to work on a plan for growth and development within the new boundaries.

Mr. Gooch said that the Committee wants to come back to the Town Council before June 1998 with a plan on paper for long-range planning of the town, which will be incorporated into the Comprehensive Plan for
