Mrs. Ellen Aylor of Aylor, Virginia was a weekend guest of Mrs. Emma Swindler and Mrs. Annabelle Swindler.
The Sperryville Volunteer Rescue Squad will sponsor their annual Miss Rappahannock Pageant at 7 p.m. on April 26 at the Rappahannock County High School. Rehearsal will be at 6:30 p.m. on Tuesday, April 22.
The pageant will be open to all single female residents of Rappahannock, ages 1-19 and boys, ages 2-6. There will also be a Mother/Daughter and Sisters’ category. Sponsor fee for each contestant is $20.
Pageant admission is $4 for adults and $3 for children.

The Sperryville United Methodist Church will have worship service at 11:15 a.m. on Sunday, April 20. Rev. Merlin Shorb invites the public to attend.
