The Culpeper Minute Men Chapter, NSDAR, met . at the Rappahannock Public Library on Tuesday, April 8. The Regent, Mrs. Irvin R. Kilby welcomed members and thanked the hostesses, Mrs. Carolyn W. Butler and Mrs. Dieter C. Knuepfer.
In the President General’s message, read by Mrs. Douglas D. Fairfax, Mrs. Kemper informed members that it had been found imperative to hire a professional management team to administer, supervise and manage all fiscal matters of the DAR.
In the National Defense report, read by Mrs. Randolph T. Dixon, an article, written by Rep. Roscoe G. Bartlett, stressed that the United States does not owe a debt to the United Nations which, he claims, is a myth. The U.S. is not being given credit for all its military/peace keeping operations amounting to $6.6 billion during the past four years.

The groom-to-be is the son of Fred and Dale Berkebile of Boston and Stewart Freeman of Summerduck.
Greg is a 1994 graduate of Massanova Christian Academy and is currently employed at Merillat Corporation in Culpeper.
The bride-to-be is a 1997 graduate of Hebron Christian School.
