; Kudos to the Volunteers It seems only appropriate during National Volunteer Week we ■give a big vote of thanks to all the many people who willingly give of their time and talent to put in the extra effort whenever and wherever it’s needed. You have only to look at Page B1 of this week’s paper to see for yourself what volunteering can do. The Rappahannock Lions Club just donated a booth for hearing screening to the Rappahannock School system. The funds for its purchase took time and effort on the part of the many local Lions Club members to raise. And it has provided the children of this county with a valuable resource in addition to saving the county a little over $1200. If you come across a volunteer this week — say thanks!
