The Rappahannock County Public Schools’ spring session of adult education classes will begin on May 5 1997.
Classes are taught by professional teachers, trade employees, and/or persons familiar with the subject being taught. Enrollment deadline is April 30, and because the classes have proven to be so popular, early registration is encouraged.
The eight-week classes being offered this session will all meet from 6 p.m. to 8 p.m. for a total of 16 hours of instruction, except for the Intermediate Computers class which meets for six weeks and the Basic Career and Financial Planning class which meets for seven weeks. The cost for each is $40 unless otherwise noted. The classes are:
Computer Basics — basic class for beginners using Windows ‘95 on IBM compatible computers. Class held in Room 14 at the high school. Taught by Holly Pendleton; meets on Mondays beginning May 5.
Intermediate Computers — for students who already have basic computer skills. Uses Windows ‘95 on IBM compatible computers. Class held in Room 14 at the high school. Purchase of workbook may be necessary. Taught by Karen Ellis; meets on Wednesdays beginning May 21; cost
