Following a dispute last Saturday in Sperryville, 48-year-old Carson Menefee of Sperryville was arrested on a simple assault charge. He was taken to jail and later released on bond.'
On Sunday morning, a potential forced entry was reported by Rev. Campbell at the Flint Hill Pentecostal Church. A broken window was discovered with pry marks, but it did not appear that anyone had entered the church. Rev. Campbell reported some items missing from the church.
