Visitor's Center Good Idea
The Town Council’s move to provide seed money in the budget for a visitor’s center in town, where people could come to obtain tourist information, is an excellent one. ••
Since 90 percent of the town’s money comes from tourism the move to provide a central location to advise visitors about what the town has to offer is a logical step. One can only wonder why it took this long to move forward toward providing a visitor’s center.
In fact, it wouldn’t be a bad idea if the county followed suit. Perhaps a joint effort would work? The county could certainly benefit from a visitor’s center as well.
