Track Wrap Up
The RCHS track team participated in a meet with Page County and Clarke County at Page last Wednesday. At press time, results for the girls’ events were still unavailable, but the boys’ results were received just in time. Rappahannock had 14 points, Clarke had 45 and Page had 100. Chris Dennis and Adam Starks fared especially. Chris finished second in both the 1600m run and the 800m run. Adam was third in the 300m hurdles and fourth in the 100m run. Jeff Atkins was third place in the long jump and Mark Williams third in the 3200m run. Tommy Baldwin was fourth in the 400m run. The team attends today at Manassas Park, and their next meet is at Madison, April 21.
