Diana Bird returned to the Town Council to give more information on the Robin Purnell paintings which she hopes will be able to hang in the Town Hal^ while Mrs. Purnell and her family'afce overseas for a few years. She said that the eight paintings are estimated by Mrs. Purnell to be worth $81,000. She has not yet checked into possible costs of insuring the paintings.
„ Council members disagreed on whether to accept the artwork to hang in the Town Hall. Ms. van Dort said that she believed that other artists would like to have their artwork in the Town Hall too. Mr. Gooch felt that guidelines should be developed about accepting art. “I just think it is a good idea,” he said.
Reinhardt Lynch felt that there could be problems in the future. “It seems it is the calling for an art gallery to deal with and not the Town Council,” he said. Mr. Tompkins, who has in the past owned art galleries and shown his photographs in many

Joyce Conwy Evans of London has provided concept design for the interior areas; her design ideas can be seen throughout The Inn. The vaulted ceiling will be 12-feet high and tile surfaces will be imported ceramic tiles. A new living room/library, and bar and lounge area are also planned.
Originally the plan was to redo the kitchen and close The Inn for 8 to 10 weeks, but of course they didn’t want to close for that long. So the addition is going on the back of the existing building and at most they will have to close for a day or two. Construction is planned so that it does not interfere while guests are still enjoying their stay in the late afternoon.
Once the new kitchen and rooms above are finished, they will move into the new kitchen and gut the old kitchen.
