Council member Ray Gooch reminded the council that $4,000 has been allocated in the current budget to “explore a new visitors’ center. When it was put in, there was a hope that there would be a town/county cooperative effort. County Administrator John McCarthy has spoken to the Rappahannock Board of Supervisors and there is some indication of support.”
