The children cheer as their parents groan. Though some of us look forward to the snow, it is a source of inconvenience for many. A loss of electricity, fenderbenders, that frantic search for child-care when the schools close...snowy weather can add to our stress. Yet, when we are all “snowed in" together we have the opportunity for togetherness that otherwise we would not. This is a good time to drink hot chocolate, share our thoughts and our dreams, and reflect upon God's role in our lives.
Finally, remember that the warmth of God's house awaits. Worship Him each week. Even as the snow falls, church hells chime.
