“This year I feel confident well win the district,” Conklin said. “It’s the best team I’ve ever coached. Theyll have to work hard to do it but I think theyll win."
Following the tournament, they played Stonewall on Dec. 8 and won, 3/15, 15/9 and 15/2. Although they did not start off well they came back strong. Conklin said they went out not ready to play but managed to pull it together.
