What a busy time. The holiday season is upon us and everyone is rushing to finish the last minute shopping. It is also the season for food, everything from nibbles to desserts. For many it will mean huge family gatherings, overnight guests, end of the year celebrations, etc.

Everyone should be able to enjoy the season and especially Christmas Day without spending hours in the kitchen. The only way to treat yourself is to prepare in advance and quite often we are seeking new and different recipes for such a festive and special time.
